Using Characters in Mac

In Office 2011 for Mac, you can "show the media browser"

then click the "Symbols"

But you only have very very... I mean very... limited characters in the Symbol browser.

Ok! Here's what you should do if you need more like how I need them. Click on your "input source button"

Then click "Show Character Viewer" and here you go!!! All the characters you need are here:

Ok! Another Thing You CANNOT Do in Word for Mac!

I'm running Word 2011 in Macbook Pro 13" Lion and I use Word with Mathtype a lot. Sometimes when I am editing papers with equations and Word tries to complete its autosave routines, it gives me this error meesage: "The disk is full trying to write to macintosh hd."

Wait a second, I have 750G space and 8G ram in this super laptop and now you are telling me you cannot save! WTF? Why is it so hard to save?

So now I have to practice to open the equation for copying instead of directly copying the equation objects. WTF!

Non't Spend Your Time To Reorganize Your Launchpad in Mac

After using Mac (Macbook Pro 13" running in Lion) for a while, you may see couple issues in Launchpad but don't panic!
1. Disappear icons
2. Disappear items (like a blank Launchpad)

All you need to do to reset all theses is to reboot BUT... Here comes the BUT!!!!

All icons and items in Launchpad will be reorganized into default orders. So STOP organizing your apps and items in Launchpad because they will be reordered some day!
